Your tool inputs stay on your device

All tools on Text & Tint run entirely in your browser. The text you type, the colors you enter, and the results you generate are processed locally and are never transmitted to, stored on, or logged by our servers.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which tools and pages are used, in aggregate — page views and general usage patterns. This tool never sees, receives, or has access to what you type into any tool, since that data never leaves your browser in the first place; there is nothing for an analytics script to transmit. Google Analytics does use cookies and collects information such as your approximate location (city/country level, from IP address), device and browser type, and pages visited.

This is opt-in: Google Analytics does not load at all until you click Accept on the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Choosing Reject means no analytics script loads and no analytics cookie is set for that visit. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for texttint.com, which will show the banner again.

You can read Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy, and their data practices as an analytics provider at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. If you'd prefer not to be measured by Google Analytics on any site, Google provides a browser opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Cookies and advertising, if enabled later

If advertising is added to this site in the future (for example, Google AdSense), ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can learn about Google's use of data for advertising at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out of personalized advertising in your Google ad settings. The same consent banner and choice described above will cover this if and when it's added — rejecting will prevent ad personalization cookies the same way it currently prevents analytics.

Information we collect directly

Beyond Google Analytics (only if accepted), our hosting provider may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance, as essentially all web hosts do. We do not sell personal information.

Children

This site is a general-audience utility site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
